ZEP - Project Management Wish Fulfiller

The IT professionals have had their eyes firmly on Microsoft for 7 years. The team around the founders Patrick Hösl and Michael Plettner has been dealing with the topic of time recording for just as long. The daily routine in the project business makes it necessary to be on site with the customers or to work remotely. Invoicing is done on a daily or hourly basis. In order to provide clients with detailed and correct billing, an appropriate tool that runs reliably was needed. "The system we were looking for should preferably not be called Excel," Patrick Hösl recalls. With the first two employees, ZEP took hold at the tech professionals. Why ZEP? "ZEP's range of functions provided us with exactly what we wanted," says Hösl.

"ZEP was our greatest stroke of luck because we can map almost everything in one tool," Patrick Hösl enthuses. Beyond time recording, the company from Oberhaching writes offers and invoices with ZEP and can generate corresponding projects directly from them - including monthly travel expense reports. "ZEP is the tool we prefer to spend money on," says Hösl. The processes can be mapped with ZEP as they are needed. For the IT service providers, a self-made replica or workarounds are a thing of the past.

Not only our own employees use the tool, but also external ones. In order for them to be able to invoice their activities accordingly - including additional meal expenses, break regulations, etc. - they receive an internal briefing on ZEP. "This usually works very well, despite the large scope of ZEP," says Hösl. And due to the flexible way of working and changing work locations, the ZEP app is also used by the employees and is found to be a helpful tool for time recording. "Without ZEP, our company would not function! A big praise especially to the wonderful support!"
