ZEP offers two AI features: the ZEP Assistant and ZEP Pulse. The ZEP Assistant is a chat that lets you ask questions about your project data, create master data and manage tickets, by text or voice. ZEP Pulse is a desktop app that recognises which applications you work in and turns that into suggestions for your project times. Both reduce manual administration in day-to-day project work.

The ZEP Assistant answers questions about your project data and performs actions directly in ZEP. It creates master data such as clients, projects and employees, creates and edits tickets, and reads information from documents, for example to turn a contract into a project. When creating an employee, it suggests matching values such as price group, permissions and department. It always respects your role and permissions in ZEP.

Yes. You can use the ZEP Assistant by text or by voice. You describe your question or task in natural language, and the Assistant answers or carries out the action in ZEP.

ZEP Pulse is a desktop app that recognises in the background which approved applications you work in and turns that into time suggestions. You define in advance which applications and time periods are tracked. Pulse compares the detected activity with your previous project bookings and suggests matching project times. A booking is only created once you review a suggestion and accept it. No start-stop logic is needed.

No. ZEP Pulse is not a monitoring tool and does not assess performance or productivity. Only you see the suggestions, and only you decide which times are booked. Managers get no automatic access to the suggestions. Only what was approved beforehand is recorded.

ZEP's AI features are GDPR-compliant. Your data stays within the ZEP environment and is not used to train public AI models. All ZEP Assistant actions run through role-based permissions and are logged in a complete audit trail. Screenshots that ZEP Pulse uses for analysis are processed locally and not stored. ZEP is hosted and developed in Germany.

The AI features are included in all ZEP products as a standard function. ZEP Assistant and ZEP Pulse are available in ZEP Clock, ZEP Compact and ZEP Professional, with no add-on module and no extra cost.
