Trial version
Both products offer trial versions. The trial period for ZEP Clock is 14 days, the same as for clockin.
External hardware terminal
ZEP Clock lets you use an external hardware terminal for a monthly rental fee of €15. With Clockin, a terminal app can be installed on a central tablet, for example.
Add-on features
In ZEP Clock, Travel Expense Management and Terminal can be added as add-ons as needed; leave management and Locations & Departments are already included. Clockin also extends its features, but these are often tied to a more comprehensive license.
Surcharges
ZEP Clock allows flexible configuration of surcharges, while clockin does not offer the option to customize them individually.

ZEP Clock lets you integrate your company's corporate identity into the software through a customizable design. In Clockin, users can also customize the company logo & their own color scheme. In addition, two different logos can be set up for the app and desktop.

Both systems have a reporting function, with the reporting in ZEP Clock offering more customization options.
