Small and medium-sized enterprises can now look forward to support in the introduction of digital technologies: The Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) is promoting the following with the programme "Digital Now - Investment Support for SMEs" the digital turnaround.

Digitisation no longer only affects global players

Nowadays, digital transformation is no longer only relevant for the big global players; the future kitchen is also boiling in medium-sized businesses. Effective customer acquisition, intelligent work and production processes and better networking with suppliers and service providers are essential economic factors in the 21st century - certainly also for your company.

However, a prerequisite for this is also that your employees develop digital skills in order to be able to effectively help shape the economic success of your company. And this is where the federal government's funding comes in, among other things: Grants are available for new investments in digital technologies - such as our ZEP software - as well as qualification of employees on digital topics.

Don't waste time & secure your digital funding

With the Support module I you, as a medium-sized company, can have the acquisition of new hardware and software funded by the federal government. The aim is to support your internal and external networking - especially in the areas of cloud applications, IT security and data protection.

Our software solution ZEP offers you ideal conditions for federal funding. With functions such as digital travel expense accounting, invoicing and direct interfaces to other providers, such as personio, you and your colleagues benefit from the greatest possible flexibility and extensions that can be freely combined with each other.

The federal government's funding module II is geared towards the further training of your workforce in the use of digital technologies. The main focus here is on the implementation of digital strategies in the company, but it also promotes the development of the necessary basic skills for everyday digital work.

Digital newcomers benefit - but how much funding is available?

Your digitisation project is in the bag, all the bids are in and now it's down to the nitty-gritty: in order to receive digital funding, you fill out a questionnaire in which you describe your digitisation plan in detail. But what must be included? First, you describe your entire digitisation project, outline the current state of digitisation in your company and then go into detail about the goals that are to be achieved with the investment.

The amount of digital funding you receive depends on your investment costs and the size of your company. Small companies receive a higher percentage subsidy. For example, if your company has up to 50 employees, the maximum subsidy is up to 40 percent (when using subsidy module I) - regardless of your industry. By the way, you can still submit your application for funding on the online portal of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection until the end of 2023.
